Stephen Kepper joined Intellectual Property Consulting in 2015. Stephen assists clients in securing intellectual property rights, negotiating licenses, and protecting clients’ IP rights through litigation involving infringement, unfair trade practices, trade secrets, and other intellectual property matters.
Prior to joining IPC, Stephen practiced with an insurance defense law firm in New Orleans where he gained invaluable litigation experience in both state and federal courts.
Stephen graduated from Loyola University College of Law in 2012. While in law school, he served on the Trial Advocacy Board and received the Law Excellence Award in Patent Law.
Stephen earned his Bachelor’s of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2007. After college, Stephen worked as a marine engineer for a local New Orleans engineering firm where he assisted in the design and construction of various types of offshore drilling rigs.
Stephen is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also admitted to practice before all Louisiana courts and the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
